 ok, so i'm requesting an ian somerhalder or open pb just run it past me really. for the sake of simplicity i'm referring to him as ian in this ad. holly grew up in new york city. she met ian sometime around sophomore year. he came from a "new money" type family so her parents tended to automatically dislike him from the start. they were friends from the start through her brother. she crushed on him and he would mess with her, lead her on, and flirt. it was all harmless really. ian was a bad boy. he slept around and didn't care. he partied cause he felt like pissing his parents off. he was everything that holly wasn't, but everything that seemed to attract her. ian tended to act different around holly. he was nice and shed his tough exterior. he was protective if he saw some other guy talk to her and would try his best to get them to leave. holly's brother constantly accused ian of liking his sister jokingly, but over time he could definately tell he did. he began getting a little hostile over his best friend, ian. he knew the type of guy he was, and he did not want his little sister getting hurt over someone like that. holly's graduation of high school night was the ultimate boiling point. ian showed up after a few months of being phased out by her brother, unexpectedly. she was a little mad her hadn't talked to her lately but forgave him after he apologized. she went with him to his place. they talked all night and then finally she lost her virginity to him. holly figured they would start a relationship after that but when she woke up, he was pacing the floor. he explained that he wasn't right for her and made all these excuses etc etc. she stormed out of his place and told him never to speak to her again. in reality, he had her best interest at heart. he didn't want to cause family problems or loose his best friend.
so now i'm thinking he shows up here after globetrotting for his father's company. by this time, ian has made a name for himself he wants to settle down some place and he heared holly lived here from her brother. he wants to explain about that night fully and be friends at least for a little while. in true ian fashion however, he wants to woo her again with romance the right way and start a proper relationship. he figures her parents and brother can deal now that she's a big girl. his age should be between twenty-three and twenty-five i guess.
