Taking one random stick, Elena was purposely avoiding to look at Damon, knowing that eye contact with him was dangerous even with her vervain filled locket on; even if she was giving him her back, though, she could bet he was either smirking or grinning. The girl sighed deeply when she heard the stool moving, knowing what it meant; he was definitely not done with them. "Quite the contrary, you are far too young and lively for such an old and dated past time, so why don't you go and spend your time in a more interesting..."
The abrupt stop was due to his words; had he actually dared mentioning the current situation between her and his brother? She couldn't bring herself to say it and hearing it out loud from his mouth was a sure trigger. "No, what happened actually means that I can finally stop pretending to stand you and that I won't have to be plagued by your presence again." Jaw clenched, eyes narrowed and hands into a fist, it was quite clear she was furious; that anger, though, melted like snow in the sun when Bonnie announced she was leaving her alone with that guy. Even five minutes could be dangerous with him...Despite her silent pleading though, Bonnie was gone and now she was left dealing with him. Could it get any worse? His following questions made it very clear that yes, it could. "Don't pretend to care about his well being or mine, no one's going to buy it, Damon."
