“phaedra?”
someone was not calling her name right now. it wasn’t possible. groaning, the girl let her head slide off the pillow and onto the mattress, pushing the pillow over her head to further mess up her brown hair. “miss phaedra, wake up.” the woman’s voice was a soft echo as she stripped the covers off of her, taking her time as she did so. "imre, i'm sleeping." phaedra mumbled to the housekeeper, squeezing her eyes shut tight and willing the surrounding noise and light to just disappear completely. “you sleep long enough miss phaedra. it's time to get up.” phaedra could have easily said some smart ass remark, but she simply groaned and shrugged imre's hand off the sharp slope of her shoulder blades, muscles relaxing as she spread out somewhat, pulling the covers back over her.
briefly paying attention, she heard shuffling feet, undoubtedly the woman collecting her clothes off the flooring. “it's almost three o'clock. you don't want mr. wilson to see you like this when he comes home, do you?” she said warningly, her feet making soft shuffles back towards the side of the bed. with a flick of her wrist, she ripped the covers straight off of the girl. “get up, now.” her tone was slightly sharper, and this time phaedra finally complied. sitting up, she placed her bare feet on the cool hardwood flooring. leaving the room, imre glanced back once before disappearing down the hallway. phaedra reached for an only tee shirt of samuel's laying on the end of the bed and slipped it over her head. clambering down the staircase, she headed into the kitchen to find something to eat. it wouldn't be long before samuel arrived.
making her way over to the fridge, phae tugged at the stainless steel door and skimmed over it's contents. finding nothing appealing, she closed it shortly after. a sigh evaded her slightly chapped lips and she works to start up the coffee maker instead, adding the correct amounts of water and coffee. she pusher herself up on the counter while she waited, swinging her bare legs back and forth over the edge, much like a child. her optics wandered about, stopping as they reached a window across the room. she spied a black car coming up the driveway and a smile graced her face. sam was here.
