hello, my name is SAMMIE. i am EIGHTEEN years young and i consider myself a(n) ADVANCED roleplayer. i found this site through CAUTION. so, here's an example of my average post:
It was a hot summer day when I met him, the sun beaming down on my face and my auburn hair dancing gracefully with the incoming breeze. I hadn't been doing much with my life by this point, in fact, I had just been fired from my job at a local ice-creamery known as "The Dairy Bar". I was from this hokey-poke village just south of Albany, a place so small that people within ten miles still hadn't heard of it. We had a few gas stations but no grocery stores, some old buildings which were promptly marked "1902" and a school that most of the village residents had attended. My bottom rested on the steps of the Old Barber Shop, now pizza parlor, taking in my surroundings the same way I had every day that summer. An outsider may think the village was a rather quaint one, the kind of place any family would want to raise their kid. To me it was dull, lifeless, and without inspiration. Most of the buildings (like the pizza parlor) still had the faded lettering from decades prior, marked as a barber shop or a corner store, going years without a new coat of paint.
He walked passed with eyes that had seen twice as many years as my own, dressed to the nines and taking snapshot after snapshot of the run down area I called home. As he passed in those faded factory blue jeans I couldn't help but think that he had gone somewhere in his life, that he had done everything that I had only dreamt about. Dave Conway, as I would come to know him as, was like a celebrity to me. He reached into his pocket to pull out an expensive looking cellphone, checking the time before pushing it away once more. I had always wanted to talk to someone from the big city and as his driver's license slipped out of his pocket and onto the dusty sidewalk, a decade of built-up anticipation had become reality.
"You dropped this," I said in one gasping breath, my heart pounding deep within my chest. It was as if I was dieing to impress this stranger, begging him to take me to wherever he was from. I needed some kind of a thrill, an echo of some unknown reality that I had only dreamt about. He seemed shocked as he glanced behind him, smiling his perfect commercially processed teeth once he realized where the voice had emerged. He was probably some successful business man, an artist maybe, I thought to myself. All I knew was this: whoever he was, I wanted to be.

NOTE: This is not from a roleplay, this is just something I wrote for school, and it's not even close to the full length. I haven't roleplayed in ages, so I have no samples.
