SAM JASON OWEN . nice . optimistic . clumsy . romantic . Meet Sam Owen, he's a twenty one year old photographer, and he's lived in East Hampton his entire life.
friends Sam's a pretty nice guy, so he's gonna have loads of friends. I see him as having a big group of friends, but one really close friend. Either a guy or a girl, don't really mind :)
enemies Most people like Sam, but everyone has enemies >.< I reckon that he's got one big enemy, and they've hated each other since they were little, again, can be guy or girl. For other enemies, I'm open to ideas <3
lovers Sam's a big romantic, so he's always looking for that special someone. I'm not necessarily looking for finals, but it would be nice if it was <3 I'm not really fussy about how he meets her, but we can plot <3 I've got a few ideas, depending on what sort of person she is, again, we can plot :)

First off, can I say Ben Barnes = <3?
Anyway. Here’s my character, the lovely Len –alliterations are love as well. A bit of back story on her: she’s the twenty-three year old daughter of a wealthy English ambassador, born in London and raised all over the world because of her father constant moving, in the USA on a trip, officially to get to know the country better. In truth, she was sent here by her parents to make her go back to her usual self after the guy she had been with for two years completely shattered her heart. She used to be very academically oriented/gifted, ambitious, proud, determined, proper, a bit on the possessive side, but also very loyal, caring and sweet; after the breakup she’s become much more apathetic, aloof, somewhat cynical, jaded, guarded.
Clearly, while being in this state of mind she’s not looking for anyone; actually, she’s scared of opening up and trusting people again, especially guys, where love is concerned. The ‘fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me’ attitude, pretty much. This is where Sam could come in, if you agree with this plot I have in mind. She could be at a photo shoot to support emotionally a model friend of hers; he could be working there as a photographer. Len doesn’t really like photo shoots, at least on the model side; she thinks it’s pretty boring to have to stay in the same position for a very long time, though she definitely sees the appeal of being the one shooting said pictures. So she’d be there, probably leaning on a wall and watching, without being really interested, when he catches her eyes; he would look familiar to her, to some extent, but she wouldn’t really know why right off.
She could realize either in a matter of minutes or maybe in a few days, but then she’d get the reason; he reminds her of his ex boyfriend, which would mean she’s torn between running away every time he’s around and being drawn to him at the same time. I suppose this extremely contradictory behaviour of hers could leave him wondering what is up with her, whether she’s plain out crazy, moody or if there’s something more behind it, and he could want to try and find out what it is. Given the fact he’s a romantic guy, once he gets to know the truth, he could feel the need to ‘fix’ her broken heart, if you will.
We could go from here, see how they work; it would probably be a slow process, because she’s seriously hurt, but I think rushing into romance is never fun. I’m on pretty much daily, so that’s not an issue either; also, I sent an invitation to chat on your Gmail account, in case you’re interested, so we could work out the details. What do you think? =]

so basically these two need to be best friends. myles is also a photographer, so they even have that in common. i'm thinking best buds and partners in crime? myles needs friends who are guys haha

sooo I've been wanting somebody to make a ben barnes charrie since I made jasmine cause I think anna and ben are gorgeous together. but uh anyway. Jasmine and Sam are the same ages. Jasmine is from London though and she just moved here for work. (theater) Maybe they could've become fast friends since they first met- probably an extremely clumsy encounter? And I could see her having a crush on him but whether she'd actually do anything about it, thats undecided. Jasmine is a pretty down- to earth person and she's pretty independent. Feel free to add or change any ideas.

haha, yush, Ben is a total hottie :P
Anyways, about Sam & Len, I'm loving the plot :) I like the way that they meet, so Len is watching her friend model, and Sam is the photographer. I think that Len shouldn't work out who Sam reminds her of straight away, but after they've talked for a bit, she suddenly figures it out, and rushes off, leaving Sam really confused. Then he could either go after her, or leave it, then they see each other again somehow. Not sure =)
Sam would definitely try and 'fix her broken heart', being the guy he is. Are you thinking that Sam & Len will be finals? Because I think that they look good together =) We can work out more details via pm or email or chat <3

Yesss, best buds & PICs is good =) I'm guessing that they would've met somewhere along the photography biz. I reckon we should thread as if they have been best buds for quite a long time, not RP their first meeting. Kay? So, you want to thread? =)
JASMINE & SAM
Ooh yes, they have to be buddies =) Maybe they meet while at the theatre, they bump into each other after? We can work out details in a bit. Then they become close friends.
With the crush part, I reckon that Jasmine and Sam eventually decide to go on a date, but it turns out to be totally awkward, so they decide to remain just friends. This is mainly because I've already got Sam's love life planned out, but also because that awkward date will be soooo fun to RP. They can still flirt though =)

I'm glad you do! I like the idea, so she can charm him with her witty and somewhat jaded conversation skills and catch his interest before realizing and pretty much running away. It would be weird for him to go after someone he's never talked to, afterall.
I'd like for them to be finals, because he sounds like the right kind of guy and they definitely do look adorable together. I'm all for seeing how they interact and work out.
Sure, I'd say chat, just because it's so much easier and more immediate. You don't have to happen MSN or AIM, do you? Google chat is alright, but can be a bit annoying at times. <<

Yeah =) so they both get attracted to each other, then Len runs off. How do you think that they'll meet for the 2nd time?
No sorry, I don't have aim or msn =P but my laptop crashed so atm I am on my iPod instead, so I don't have chat on google mail :/ do you want to pm or email instead? =)

We could either go for them meeting somewhere nice and laidback {starbucks or maybe a book shop} or something completely different, a crowded club, where maybe she'd be getting drunk and kind of wild -unusual of her-, after being upset by having met someone who reminds her of the Heart Breaker.
Damn computer crashing. I'm fine with PMing, emailing, posting here until you get it nice and fixed. You choose, what's easier for you on your Ipod.
