Braeden (brey-den) is probably one of my most cynical characters. He's bitter, sarcastic, and he thinks he knows everything. Although he doesn't directly show it, he can't get out of the depression he's had since his girlfriend died. Brey is a writer and spends most of his time either working at the Cafe in town or up until all hours of the night reading Jane Austen or writing his own stories. He's incredibly intelligent, has worldly experiences, but is very insecure and unsure of himself. He doesn't know where his place is in the world and is struggling to figure that out.
His family is in financial ruin which means that he spends a lot of time working and going to school to try and help his father and his little sister keep their house. He has little time to hang out with his friends but that doesn't mean he doesn't need them. I would appreciate it if you plotted him up with friends, enemies, flings, and potential lovers. Way down the road he is going to be dating Marlene but until then he is open for any ideas.

BRYNNE & BRAEDEN
bee has suffered a loss similar to his. she lost her husband about eight months ago. i could actually see these two becoming friends, but more the kind that just are there for talking when the other needs it rather than friends who actually go out and do stuff together.
HARLOW & BRAEDEN
i feel like quite a few arguments would ensue between these two. i feel like she'd just be everything he hated about people and she would try to combat his cynicism. it'd be highly entertaining though.
CASH & BRAEDEN
he's a bit of a douchebag at times but he does have a sweet side, i think he and brae might have a chance of actually getting along, weirdly enough.
EMMALINE & BRAEDEN
she's a model and a vegetarian and probably not the kind of person he would want to hang out with.

BRAEDEN && BRYNNE
He's very insightful so I'm sure he could help her in one way or another. Being kind, he cares about everyone; often more than he should. It would be nice for him to have someone to talk to about his hardships. So I'm sure it'll work out.
BRAEDEN && HARLOW
I'm sure that those arguments would be very entertaining and interesting. He loves intellectual debates and would love to hear her thoughts about society. |
