It depends on how much pain you've had to go through. I know it's been tough on you, Brey, but you need to understand...accidents happen. I don't know the precise dynamics, but I'm fairly sure you're not the type to be speeding up ridiculously under pouring rain, or not to change wheels when he's supposed to, because you seem too cautious for that. Chances are, it was something beyond your control, and whilst I see why it would be upsetting, it's not worth throwing your life out of the window for it. You didn't love her.

Besides, what was so important that couldn't wait until it cleared up? Eventually, she started to b-tch and complain to me and I really didn't have much of a choice. We were almost there when a truck on the other side lost control. I couldn't get out of the way in time. I guess it wasn't something I could control but still... If I had been persistent, it wouldn't have happened at all. But you know me, I'm too much of a pushover. How'd we end up talking about me? I thought we were going to talk about you and how I can help make you happy?

Some things just...happen. I think one of the toughest lessons in life is accepting you can't have control over everything and that there's not necessarily a reason behind it all. Not to me, anyway, if one believes in God, fate or whetever else, then kudos to them, but that's not my case.
