hello, my name is EFER. i am SIXTEEN years young and i consider myself a(n) INTERMEDIATE-ADVANCED roleplayer. i found this site through TISSERS. so, here's an example of my average post:
Teddy was watching football, after all it was Sunday. There was nothing better than spending one's afternoon lying on the couch with a beer in one hand and the TV remote in the other; his fingers moving through the channels depending on the commercial timing or the scores of one game. This is how he spent almost every single Sunday. He was in complete bliss. Any vague detail that would have changed could set the mood of the entire day off. Every meticulous portion of the day had to be perfect: the right temperature of the room, the beer and his body, the best food, the greatest game and no interruptions of any sort. It had to be just like he needed it. If his needs changed, the day would then have to change in accordance. Teddy didn't even know who was playing at the moment, nor did he really give a crap. He was just happy to be watching his favorite sport. He had always been a sports guy, and football had always been at the top. He had no hard feelings against any other sport, but football had this charm about it. There was just an overwhelming sensation of happiness that went through him, and almost every other male in the American population, when they watched the simple game. It was nothing more than a bunch of guys wrestling for a ball, yet it made people so emotional. There was always screaming, crying and yells of joy whenever a game was on.
This day could not be perfect though. It would be cruel to let the poor guy have one day of complete happiness. There always had to be a disturbance of some sort. Whether it be a call from his ex-wife, a canceled lunch date with his daughter, a criminal who went too far in work or the failure of catching a bad guy or progressing in a case. He never seem to be able to catch a break. No more were there days of joy and fun for Theodore Winters. Everything was work, work and work. There were only brief moments of happiness in his life; no longer was he allowed to have prolonged periods of joy. It was one problem after another. Soon enough they would just come flying at him, the problems they would. They would be like plates being tossed at him, crashing up on the walls behind and around him. All of the pieces would be left there on the floor for him to sift through and renew. No amount of glue could repair them to their highest standard though. There was nothing that could fix them whole again. His persistency would do zero for him at that point. His hard work and dedication would be as useful as one nail and one piece of wood would be to building a mansion. Rockford was staring at him with his puppy dog eyes. Teddy could automatically tell that his dog needed to go to the bathroom. If he had lived in his old house, he could have just sent him outside into the yard and resumed to the TV. Living in the city, though, made things a bit difficult.
He sighed as he got up from the couch, placing his beer and remote on the coffee table. He stretched out his arms and made his way to the doorway; there he took his coat off the rack and buttoned up. Rockford was barking excitedly and running around Teddy as he tried to attach the leash to his collar. "Hold still, boy," he commanded the dog and finally put the two together. The red leash was slung around his wrist. Off they were, going down the steps and out through the main exit into the chilly weather of Boston. Teddy could see his breath before him and he zipped up his coat all the way. Rockford was ecstatic to get out of the house, or if you were being politically correct the two room commendation that they called home. They walked and continued doing so until they reached the Kincaid Dog Park. The usual bathroom stop for Rockford. Teddy had to yell at him a few times to keep him from just taking a pee on someone's front step, but they made it there with a lot of time to spare. Rockford did his deed and just as Teddy was about to force him home, he began to bark. These were not just any type of barks though. They were full fledged ones that just yelled out I am staying here.
He looked at his dog straight in the eye and thought, What the hell? I am missing the game anyway so might as well make one of us happy. With that, he unleashed his pup and let him run wild. Teddy stood there with his hands in his pockets, watching Rockford. He used to do this with Teresa when she was much younger. He would stand there and just look at her as she went on the swings, down the slide and through every obstacle they set up. Every now and then his baby girl would look at him, he'd give a small smile and wave before she resumed to her play time. He missed those days. He missed when he could just ask for a kiss and she'd plant one right on his lips. Teddy longed to hold his daughter one more time. It wasn't like she was gone forever, but she seemed to want little to do with him. He tried his hardest. It was just one area in his life that he could not succeed in, yet it was the most important out of them all. Teddy let his mind wander around his daughter and family life for a bit, just letting all the memories and thoughts take over. .
