IT'S A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT, WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DUMB TO DO. hey baby, i think i wanna marry you. the sunlight peeked in through the curtains, causing harlow to stir from her coma-like state of sleep. she rolled over, letting out a small groan attempting to keep her eyes shut before finally allowing them to snap open. there was no way she'd get back to sleep at this point, the pounding in her head was too much and the reality of it all was beginning to sink in. the previous night had been enough to put anyone into an alcohol-induced coma. she sat up, wrapping her side of the sheet carefully around herself before glancing over at will. he was sprawled out, still sleeping. she watched him a moment, trying to piece together all the fuzzy memories that were clouding her mind. "fuck." she mumbled, rubbing her head as she thought about everything. "let's get married," harlow said tugging lightly at his hand. little parts of each were coming back to her, each reminding her why she should really stop drinking. "we should celebrate.. whaat private property sign are you referring to?" harlow said grinning, pulling him onto the boat. marriage. boats. it was all piecing together now. "harlow, don't say anything. i understand." her grandmother said, leading her and will from the police station. "can't be serious." she mumbled quietly to herself thinking it all over. drunk. married. arrested. what? something just didn't click for her.
she then leaned over to will, nudging him lightly, trying to wake him up. "babe, you gotta wake up," she mumbled pressing a kiss to the side of his face before nudging him again, this time with a little more effort. "get up," she said, a little louder, though her voice was rather hoarse. she needed his input. his recollection of things. she needed confirmation that what she thought happened was a reality, though, she couldn't really say she was hoping for it. it was all a mess. it could have been a dream right? she looked over to him again, tugging lightly at his arm. "will." she said louder this time. she wasn't going to just let him sleep. no matter how shitty he was feeling, she needed answers. not to mention, if she could handle waking up, so could he.
[woo, i made it short like i promised. it's a bit all over the place, but i'm sure you'll get it.]

when harlow had asked william to go on vacation with her, of course he had said yes. he really had been looking for a chance to escape the city and just have some time with his girlfriend, and greece was probably one of the best places to do so. of course, when he had gotten there, he hadn't planned on getting in so much action first thing. "just a warning, these people really know how to party," she said as she tugged him along down a path. laughing softly, he had shrugged. "i'm sure." and then sitting on the bar stools, she had told him, "but we need a fun night." and then many, many drinks. "wanna dance or something?" and the rest he didn't remember. like, at all. but that was last night, and this was today. and today, will had a bitch of a hangover. the only thing that woke him up was the nudging of someone, and his name.
"will." groaning softly, he bit his lip, pressing a hand to his forehead. ”go away, sleeping..” will mumbled, the light in the room starting to make him open his eyes. once he did, he looked at harlow, frowning deeply. she looked sort of worried. ”ugh. head.. har? what’s up?” closing his eyes for another few moments, he sat up some, and then looked at her once again. ”what’s wrong?” he asked again, running his hand through his wild hair. he glanced around the room, looking for something that could of upset her, and then gave himself a small once over, making sure he wasn’t all fucked up or anything crazy like that. no limbs missing, clothes not all ripped to shreds. so everything was pretty much okay, except for the massive pounding in his head. but in the back of his head, will knew he had done some things last night that were bad. and he knew that they needed to be fixed somehow.
[mine fails >.> but i like short posts x) and i definitely kept up with it.]

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT, WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DUMB TO DO. hey baby, i think i wanna marry you. waking up will had always been a bit tough. hell, he slept just as hard as harlow did, and she could sleep through just about anything. there was no backing down now though. go away, sleeping.. she kept poking at him until he finally sat up. from the looks of things, he was in just as much pain as she was. ugh. head.. har? what’s up? harlow ran her fingers lightly through her hair, thinking a moment, or at least trying to despite the pounding in her head. what’s wrong? she sighed a little, looking him over. "that really depends," she said, trying to choose her words carefully. she wasn't sure what had actually happened and she didn't want to sound stupid saying something that could have just been a dream. "so.. uh.." she rolled over lightly onto her side facing him, holding her head up with her hand.
"what exactly happened last night?" she questioned, raising her eyebrows a little, one hand moving to rest lightly on his arm. she didn't want to assume things from the couple things that she did remember. hell, knowing her she could've gotten stoned and hallucinated the whole thing. there was this horrible feeling in her gut though, that told her otherwise, then again that could've just been the excess amounts of alcohol. "i.. only remember a few things," she mumbled, rather quietly. she was so caught up in her head and awful feeling it brought over her that she didn't even notice how incoherent she was being. by looks alone, you could tell she felt awful. it wasn't her usual hangover look. it was the "oh wow, i did something stupid," look combined with some serious bed head. she glanced over to will, watching him. he didn't really seem all that worried, so that was a good sign right? she ran her fingertips lightly over his arm before glancing down at it. a sudden wave of nausea fell over her as she looked at her finger. on her ring finger, a gold ring was present, one that had probably been bought the previous night at one of the local greek flee markets. "fuck," she mumbled again, quietly, biting at her bottom lip and pulling her hand away from him. this was not good.

"that really depends," were her words when he had asked what was wrong, and will frowned even deeper, not really answering. watching her roll over and lean on to her hand, he appraised her looks. and well, he wasn’t just going to lie about it. ”.. har. you look like shit.” when she rested his hand on her arm, he lifted a hand to rest on top of hers lightly. "what exactly happened last night?” what did happen last night? he was only sure of the things before the drinks. and those were barely even there. the look on her face made him look away for a minute, and then back as he slowly answered. ”to be honest.. i’m really not sure.” she was being quiet, something really unlike harlow. will was getting a bit worried, but still, the pounding in his head could of just made her words quieter.
"i.. only remember a few things.” nodding slightly, he watched her, taking back his hand to cross his arms, and then watched her gaze travel down to her hand from his face. ”fuck..” the look on her face now made him a little bit sick. ”.. harley?” he watched her pull her hand away, and caught a glimpse of her finger. the gold ring. ”fuck. fuck, what..” groaning loudly, he tried to get up from the bed, but just layed back against the pillow, pulling the sheets over his head. ”we di- no, we couldn’t have gotten married.” a fairy tale beginning for the newlyweds? no, not really.

IT'S A BEAUTIFUL NIGHT, WE'RE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING DUMB TO DO. hey baby, i think i wanna marry you. harlow frowned a little watching him. har. you look like shit." she knew it was true, she did look terrible. and she felt even worse, but commenting on it wasn't really something to improve her mood either. she relaxed a little as he rested his hand on hers, but she couldn't help but to anticipate his words. she wanted to know what exactly he remembered, but obviously, he was worse off than she was. to be honest.. i’m really not sure. she sighed a little at this point, now looking down at her hand and pulling it away from him quickly. she remained silent. harley? she considered saying something, but he had noticed it too, judging on the look on his face. she stayed quiet and watched his reaction. she couldn't help but to be almost a little disappointed.
obviously, she wasn't a happy camper herself, but something about his reaction made her feel almost a bit self-conscious about it. she frowned a little, shifting, sitting up and pulling her knees to her chest, resting her chin on them and wrapping her arms lightly around her legs. she couldn't even tell what he was saying. she could hear him clearly, but her mind wasn't really comprehending it at this point. she shut her eyes a moment thinking about it. "i do," harlow said, smiling and looking at will. it happened. there were pieces that she remembered. pieces that weren't all that foggy. "we did." she stated, finally, not really having any particular emotion in the words. she didn't look to him, nor did she move from the position in which she was sitting. this wasn't how she wanted things. it wasn't supposed to be like this. "it happened." she sighed lightly, trying to fight off the pounding in her head enough so that she could think clearly enough to say something logical. "we did something else, too." she said piecing together flashbacks. "i think we were at a police station." she mumbled. she was more thinking out loud than anything else at this point, trying to just grasp all that had happened.

he had known it probably wasn’t the best idea to tell her how she looked, but of course, he couldn’t really think all that well at that moment. william could of hidden his emotions a little better, but it didn’t matter. it was all going to come out at some time. watching her move around, he tried to think back to the night before. to what really had happened. and the look on his face right now? was pure shock. his jaw was a little dropped, his eyes were wide. he shook his head, blinking a few times and crossing his legs, resting an elbow on his knee and running a hand through his hair once more. "we did." this was not good. of course, will had wanted to marry harlow for a long time, not his ex wife. making his parents happy had always come first, though, and that was why he had been with his ex. but he didn’t want to be married to her like this, no he did not. he wanted a big, happy wedding. white dress. pretty ring. not the one he had aparently bought for harlow.
looking at her, will noticed how flat she sounded. no emotions anymore. another reason why this wasn’t good for the two was that it was going to change everything. he didn’t know what harlow wanted. stay married, get divorced.. he didn’t even know what he wanted. "it happened." the throbbing in his head made it hard for him to think of a reply. what was he supposed to say? that everything was going to be alright? well, he didn’t know that, so no, he couldn’t. "we did something else, too. i think we were at a police station." frowning deeply, he watched her again, trying to think. he did remember something about a police station, but not what. finally, he spoke. ”... yeah. i do remember the station, dunno why we were there though.” the words were mumbled, he didn’t want to be too loud. ”what’re we gonna do, har..?”
