hello, my name is JINX. i am TWENTY years young and i consider myself anADVANCED roleplayer. i found this site through CAUTION. so, here's an example of my average post:
Kenny's forehead was leaned against the cold window on the inside of Carnell's car. Ever since leaving Adam's house about twenty minutes earlier she hadn't spoken a word. The Kenny they knew her as and they Kenny she truly was were two different people...and the real her was starting to fade away. Since Adam had come back things were rough. For the first time since all of the nonsense had begun, she was more than just a plaything for his friends. He refused to let her be the innocent anymore. If his hands were doing to be dirty, he wanted hers to be too. When it came down to it, she had no choice. It was either agree and let them yank her around, or end up with a bullet through her head and there was no doubt in her mind that Adam would pull the trigger himself.
Carnell looked sideways at the sad girl sitting next to him. He was the only one who ever really looked at her the right way and it made him sick to see what was happening to her. If there was any way to keep her safe he tried it. This made him her driver most of the time, and he always went with her if she needed to make a run somewhere...sometimes even covered for her. Of course he saw her like a younger sister and someone he needed to protect but the silence was really starting to make him uneasy. Sighing, he looked over at Kenny, nudging her arm. "Kay...you 'ight?" Asked the huge dark guy. Kenny took her head off the window and looked at him with a small smile was on her face, though her emotions inside had no reason for it. "As alright as I could ever be." For some reason this made him laugh a little, and she put her head back on the window.
She had gotten to the point where she tried to push Tom as far into the back of her mind as she could. Even thinking about him was enough to break her down, and she had no idea where he went to. Adam told her a number of stories, from he ran off to he was killed. Since she hadn't heard anything from him she actually believed the asshole. Whenever he managed to cross her mind she lost it. For some reason he wasn't on her mind at that moment, but she felt him. It was the weirdest feeling in the world. Shaking a little, she tried to force it from her mind again. The daze was broken by Carnell telling her they were at her house. "Hmm? Oh. Thanks. I'll see you..." Kenny told him.
With a thankful smile, she gave him a kiss on the cheek and got out of the car, throwing her purse over her shoulder and walking across the lawn towards her door. She turned and watched Carnell drive away and then sighed with relief. Free! If only for a few hours. Kenny walked over to her own car, the Jeep sitting in the driveway and unlocked the back hatch. Another cold wave of memory flooded her for a second, giving her goosebumps. With a twist she unlocked a compartment that was in the car's floor meant for storing a spare tire. It was empty, but not for long. Reaching down she removed both of her blue sneakers and threw them into the compartment, and soon after it tossed her flag, and then any other traces of the shit she could find. Sighing again she straightened up, it made her feel about a thousand pounds lighter.
After closing the compartment and then the hatch she walked back towards the door, pausing for a second. Her eyes fell on the car that was parked near her apartment. For a second she stared on it, wondering who would just be sitting there. Their back was to her, so she couldn't determine anything about them. Looking over her shoulder a little at the car, she started unlocking the door, then looked back at the lock.

HEIGHT , 5'9"
EYE COLOR , blue
HAIR COLOR , deep brown
PLAY-BY , Megan Fox
LIKES , pizza, sour patch kids, re-runs of shows from the 90s, 80s rock, and the smell of gasoline.
DISLIKES , untuned guitars, the crap kids consider music these days, drama, nightmares, the sound of scraping against rock.
FEARS , spiders, extreme heights, and death.
DREAMS , to actually live a normal life, for once.
SECRETS , I feed off of adrenaline.
HABITS/QUIRKS , biting nails when in thought or nervous.
OVERALL PERSONALITY , A bit of a firecracker. This girl has no filter installed between her brain and her mouth and she will not hold back with anything and everything that she has on her mind, which tends to get her in trouble. Though on the outside she appears to be somewhat of a hardass, on the inside she can be just as sweet and gentle as any other girl, though it definitely takes people awhile to get to that point. Upon first meeting her she can seem harsh and cruel, but its the persona that she has learned to keep up with to help her survive and keep out the people she doesn't want to deal with in life.

OVERALL , Kennedy Ramone was born in the biggest city of the smallest state, just about the only place in the entire state that showed any signs of real life or city activity. She was raised in the more run-down areas of the city further towards the southern part where it was not only unsafe to be a female, but also unusual to be any type of white. Her father was a Spanish fresh over the border and without a green card to show for it, and her mother worked at the hospital doing x-rays...one of those nurses you would see in the overly colorful scrubs and standing outside of the building with a faux chanel bag on one arm and a cigarette in her hand. Despite the fact that times were rough, she never became one of those cases who dropped out of high school to get high on the street corner or someone who got pregnant at too young and ruined their entire life. Compared to most of the other girls in her classes, she was actually highly intelligent and showed the most promise and drive for the future.
Her entire life she absolutely loved to dance, and she was often caught practicing her steps in her full length mirror at home, or sometimes even in front of the long horizontal mirror in the cafeteria of her elementary school, and later the locker rooms of her high school. Sometime during her high school career, she was snatched up for the latin dance club and did small performances for the school at pep rallies and events. In a school where they could barely afford text books, and the student next to you disappeared after only a few weeks, the focus wasn't exactly on sports, and that was when Kenny found herself in a downward spiral from what could have been a promising future. In her Sophomore year, she met a boy named Adam who was a senior and one of the most notorious names that the school had to offer. Rather than being known for his achievements, he was known for how many days of school he still managed to skip while still passing and how many other guys he had picked fights with in the hallways. While a rebel boy without a cause didn't seem to be exactly the most threatening thing in the world, there was more to him hidden under the surface than she ever could have imagined, and following him ended up being the worst decision of her life.
Despite the bad reputation that came attached to Adam Oakley, he was sweet to her and he knew exactly how to make a girl happy. He would pick her up on time in his brand new car, greet her parents, and take her out dates to some of the nicest spots in Providence that most other kids their age could only dream about actually getting to sit and eat a meal at. His clothes were always new and he could always pay, one of those guys who refused to let the girl throw down for the bill. Their relationship lasted until well after Adam had somehow managed to graduate from high school, though he didn't exactly make himself scarce. Adam insisted on picking her up from school every day and dropping her off in the morning, and often dropped by to make sure she was still there and hadn't disappeared. What started as caring was starting to become obsessive, and it seemed like he always wanted to know exactly what she was doing or exactly who she was with. If she didn't answer his calls right away he would keep calling until the missed calls would stack up into the 'teens or he would just show up at her house to figure what was so important that she could ingore him in such a way.
Their relationship didn't actually become destructive until her senior year, when she found out a bit more about the boy that she had been seeing for the past three years. Before one of their dates, they drove off to a smaller area of suburbia were full homes practically didn't exist anymore and usually two or three families were crammed into one small space. According to Adam, he had to pick up his game system from one of his buddies who he had allowed to borrow it. This was obviously a lie. After what seemed like an eternity of waiting for him to return, he finally came back to the car looking slightly abashed, but claiming that his buddy had broken the system and now owed him money for a new one, which was why he hadn't returned with it. The truth would be the last thing that she would have expected, especially after all this time of being by his side and having him be by hers. Things seemed perfectly normal. Dinner was good, and he dropped her off at home.
Later that week she found herself leaving the dance studio where she had been taking lessons once or twice a week, and for once Adam hadn't been there to usher her out to his car and drop her back at her place. Once the lot emptied out of other students, she decided that there couldn't be any harm in walking. She cut through the side alley that would bring her closest to her street in the shortest amount of time with her headphones loud in her ears to drown out the sounds of the night that did such a great job of giving her the creeps. Kenny didn't even hear them coming. In about an instant she found herself on the ground with pain searing through every inch of her flesh, the flashes of light bright after she had nearly been knocked unconscious by the blow to the back of her skull. Adam had skipped out on a deal and owed the boys a great deal of money, and she was about to settle his debt. He was deeper into gang activity than she ever would have expected, and after that night it seemed impossible to her that she hadn't seen it before. It was all too obvious.
(I could keep going, but I do not want to bore you. If you would like me to finish, just let me know)
