everything had been kind of crazy for harlow. half the time, she wasn't even sure how things had ended up like they had, all she knew was that she wouldn't change it for the world. everything had somehow turned out perfect. well, at least far better than she had ever expected. it was just a couple years ago that she had thought she'd never see will again. she had left him with the idea that she was letting him go, that he would go back to his life, and she would just start over new. it was funny how wrong that was. it was three years later, and here she was married to him. it wasn't what she had expected, but she would not want anything else. she had the love of her life, she had the perfect house, the perfect pets. she had her businesses. it was crazy that she had ended up with just about everything that she hadn't been looking for. at this point, it felt like absolutely nothing could bring her down.
harlow had woken up fairly early. a lunch had been planned to meet with some type of reporter. to be honest, she wasn't exactly sure what all it had to do with but it had something to do with her and will, and possibly their careers. the woman on the phone had been rather vague, but hey, who could turn down a lunch? she and will had planned on lunch anyways. harlow sat on the bed a moment, watching will, whom had continued to sleep. "time to wake up, babe." she muttered, leaning over to kiss his cheek. "we've got lunch plans today," she said, waiting until he actually woke up before heading to the closet to change. she slipped out of will's button up, tossing it lightly on the floor before pulling on a skirt, patterned tights and a nice blouse. "hurry up babe," she chuckled as she exited the closet, walking into the bathroom. "we're going to be late." she quickly fixed her hair and applied some quick makeup before heading back into the room. she took a seat on the edge of the bed, pulling on her heels. "ready to go?" she asked, looking to will whom had finally dressed. she smiled lightly, standing and pressing a quick kiss to his lips before heading out the door with him.
their destination was a sweet little cafe on the edge of town. harlow had been their many times before. most of the time with will. they had taken their seats at one of the tables and waited patiently for this reporter that they had agreed to meet with. she sipped lightly at her drink, pondering what exactly this whole meeting was going to be about. it had to be something good, right? besides, publicity was good, especially with wanting to expand on her business and what not. she looked lightly over the menu, looking up as someone entered through the cafe door.
